Who handles your enquiry
Matthew Jones trading as Copy & Replace, based in Peterlee, County Durham, uses your details to assess your part, reply, prepare a quotation and carry out any work you agree. Contact copyandreplaceuk@gmail.com with questions or requests about your information.
Information you choose to send
Your enquiry can include your name, email, company, telephone number, delivery town and postcode, country, contact preferences, part details and files. The form also records your agreement to the linked terms and an identifier for the exact document supplied. Optional answers about quantities, samples, timing and working conditions help assess the job and prepare a quotation. Please include only information relevant to the work. Photographs and drawings are used to review the part and support the agreed job.
Enquiry delivery
The form sends your answers and chosen files to FormSubmit, which emails them to Copy & Replace. Its spam check may use Google reCAPTCHA. You may briefly leave this website to complete that check.
FormSubmit states that it retains submission details for 30 days. Uploaded files are emailed and are not retained in its submission archive. Copy & Replace's email provider also handles the correspondence.
Private payments and agreements
When the online payment service is activated, customer details are available only after verification of the email attached to the payment request. The service records the agreed work and price, billing details, the exact agreement versions, acceptance time and electronic signature. A secure session cookie keeps the private record open for up to an hour. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Security records include a protected fingerprint of the network address and limited browser information.
Cloudflare hosts these private records and documents. Card details go directly to the hosted payment provider identified at checkout, Stripe or Revolut; this website does not store card numbers. Resend delivers verification and transaction emails. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services. Payment, invoice and agreement records are retained for fulfilling the job, business and tax records, and establishing what was agreed. Access is restricted to the customer’s verified record and the authorised owner. Contact Matthew about your information and applicable retention requirements.
Campaign information
If the link you followed includes campaign labels, such as the name of an outreach email campaign, those labels travel with links between these pages and are included with an enquiry you submit. No recipient identifiers are added, and this feature uses no tracking pixels, advertising cookies, analytics scripts or browser storage. Untagged visits are not assumed to be direct visits.
Records and retained designs
Enquiries, quotations, agreed requirements and project correspondence may be retained as business records. Where appropriate, manufacturing files can be kept for repeat orders. Customer designs and uploaded files are not added to a public catalogue automatically. Contact Matthew to discuss access, correction, deletion or any confidentiality requirements.
Photo preparation
Where supported, large photos are resized on your device before submission. The originals on your device are unchanged. PDF drawings are sent as supplied.
This website
The hosting provider may handle technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Files selected in the form stay in browser memory until submitted; this website does not save them to browser storage. Customer uploads are sent to the enquiry service, rather than published as website images.
Ordering & terms
Read or save the Terms of Service & Liability Disclaimer (PDF).
Sending an enquiry and accepting the terms does not place an order or authorise paid work. The work, requirements, price, payment stages and delivery arrangements are supplied for you to review before you approve a job.
Design is usually quoted with an estimated manufacturing price first. The agreed design fee is paid in full before design work begins. The firm manufacturing price is confirmed after design, then approved and paid in full before production. Straightforward jobs may be quoted in full at the outset. Please discuss a job before posting an original component.
